We are looking for a Microelectronic Circuit Layout Engineer to help develop spin qubits and support our rapidly evolving roadmap.
What awaits you every day at Quobly:
Technical challenges
- Design layouts for process monitoring and electrical characterization (parametric tests).
- Create layouts for increasingly complex chips, aligned with our roadmap.
- Ensure layout integrity by following PDK requirements (DRC, LVS, Antenna checks, etc.).
- Contribute to quantum design across ultra-low power, RF, analog, mixed-signal, and complex digital processing environments.
Collaboration
- Work closely with experts in software, hardware design, quantum physics, measurement, silicon characterization, and quantum theory, in a culture built on transparency and autonomy.
- Partner with the integration, design, and simulation teams on challenging projects.
You are special because:
- You have few years of experience on layout design on node below 40 nm.
- You have strong proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso or Siemens Calibre.
- You have knowledge of the SKILL programming language.
Nice to have:
- Experience on FDSOI ;
- Background in analog or RF layout ;
- Knowledge of circuit design, enabling close interaction with design teams.
Growth path
You will start with simpler designs such as scribe monitoring and quickly move to more advanced layouts: linking qubits (analog layout and design) to control electronics (digital layout and design). Over the next few years, the complexity will continue to grow with advanced signal generation and sophisticated digital and analog blocks.
